SPEC Banner Ad: The New Yorker
Challenge:
Create a dynamic 3-frame banner ad designed to increase the digital subscription base among readers. The digital-only format offers huge convenience to busy readers who are often on the go. The ad should appeal to those who are tech-savvy and wishing to remain engaged and well-informed on current affairs.
Solution:
The target audience may already be familiar with The New Yorker, but not yet subscribers to the digital-only platform. The copy is designed to reaffirm the quality and dependability of The New Yorker while emphasizing the convenience of accessing the material digitally. As with many banner ads, the goal is delivered with direct, concise messaging along with a clear call to action directing readers to subscribe.
